Overall pleasant stay. Good service. Nice room n spacious to accommodate 3 of us. Breakfast range average. However the toilet shower inconvenient for elderly or with children. The hotel too is elevated.. so need few steps before reaching lobby

Very convenient location next to big market and metro station.
The personnel was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast i would say enjoyable with not too mamy vegan options.
Room comfortable with aircon and all the amenities you would expect adding here a small table for ironing clothes + iron + hair dryer.

That my second time staying there . I like the location in district 1 . Near my hotel the a lot Michelin restaurants . I like the breakfast at the restaurant more choice and taste are good. The stuff friendly and helpful

Second stay at Alagon Hotel. Good location. Short walk away from Ben Thanh Market. Many food selections around the hotel as well. Hotel is slightly dated but they make it up with excellent service and hospitality. Breakfast is great. Highly recommended.

我去的時候前面正在修路，感覺很臟亂，整個酒店印度人比較多。入住時收了按金100萬越盾。我説能不能用信用卡交按金，前台負責人説很不情願的説，如果那樣按金45天後才能退回給本人，真是無語。

This is a hotel of contradictions.
The facade is impressive. It's centrally located in District 1 near restaurants, shops and the Western quarter. The buffet breakfast selection is pleasing. The room size is generous. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's a forward thinking eco-friendly policy which clearly implemented throughout the hotel.
However, the hotel is let down by some of its facilities. For example, in the bathroom a spa has been placed under a shower head so that when you shower the water runs down the wall and floods across the bathroom floor from one side to the other and in front of the hand basin. The hot and cold water taps turn on in opposite directions and the cold tap is not fitted properly which causes it to move. My children were unable to turn the shower on or off without adult help. The shower head is also too low and my 6 foot husband had to crouch down to shower.
Another problem area is the rooftop pool area. The clear rooptop pool perimeter fence is woefully too low. I watched a child climb out of the pool to the ledge between the pool and the perimeter fence and I was very worried for his safety. One wrong slip or stumble and there's nothing stopping the child from toppling over the edge and 11 floors down.
This hotel has a lot going for it but also has further room for improvement.

Highly recommended for its convenient location in District 1, caring services & a panoramic city view with a large bill board.
Five-minute walk to a Satrafoods superstore & fifteen-minute walk to the Central market of the District (which is near the Saigon Center shopping mall). A 24-hour McDonald's is also within the 15-minute range on the other side. Remember to try the famous Bánh Mì Huynh Hoa (near the superstore) & the Michelin-selected Phô Viêt Nam on 14 Pham Hông Thâi (near the McDonald's).
Housekeepers were extremely considerate of turning on the Aircon prior to our return.
The neighbourhood was very safe without any crime witnessed either on us or others over our 9-night stay. There were just some taxi & massage scammers.
The only complaint is the bathtub design as without a curtain or door to contain shower water splashed. I personally prefer a shower compartment.
